I try to reflect in paint the wonder and spirit of a landscape, the endless varieties of color, pattern, and texture and communicate to the viewer what it has already awoken in me. Even when my paintings are nonobjective, they encompass aspects of atmosphere, moods, or places. The end result   is to awaken the viewer to the beauty all around us.
